Dua for Exam Success and Studying

Dua Before Studying

Begin your study session by asking Allah to open your heart and mind: O Allah, expand my chest, ease my task and untie the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech. This dua of Prophet Musa is perfect for gaining clarity.

Dua for Understanding

Recite: O Allah, benefit me by what You have taught me, teach me what benefits me, and increase me in knowledge. Knowledge is a light that Allah places in the heart of whoever He wills.

Dua During the Exam

When you sit for the exam, say Bismillah and ask: O Allah, there is no ease except in what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if You will. Then answer calmly, trusting that you prepared and relied on Allah.

After the Exam

Whatever the result, say Alhamdulillah. If it is good, thank Allah; if it is difficult, ask Him for what is better and keep striving. Contentment with Allah decree brings peace far greater than any grade.
