Fire is read by what it consumes and how it behaves. Contained fire that gives light or warmth — a lamp, a hearth — is read as guidance, knowledge, or a benefit that has to be handled with care. Fire that spreads and destroys turns toward conflict, loss, or a dispute that consumes what it touches. Fire without smoke is the better reading; heavy smoke brings confusion and words that obscure rather than clarify. Being burned points to harm already taken; carrying fire without being burned to handling something dangerous with competence. A fire in the marketplace has traditionally been read as disruption in livelihood.
Fire is double in the sources themselves. It is the fire Musa turned aside to see, which was guidance; and it is the fire of punishment. It gives light and it destroys, and the interpretation follows whichever of those two the dream emphasises. A reading that ignores the detail — whether it warmed or consumed — is not reading the dream at all.
A dream of fire is not a warning of a house fire and carries no ruling. The tradition holds that most of what is seen in sleep is the mind's own business, not a message. If the dream frightened you, the response taught is to seek refuge in Allah, turn onto your other side, and not to relate it to anyone.
Fire that spreads and destroys turns the reading toward conflict, loss, or a dispute that consumes what it touches rather than toward guidance or warmth. Heavy smoke in the scene adds confusion, words that obscure rather than clarify. This is not a warning that your house will burn down, and it carries no ruling. What matters is whether the dream's fire warmed or consumed — a reading that ignores that detail hasn't read the dream at all.

Dream interpretations are drawn from classical Islamic sources where one exists, and otherwise from general symbolism. They are guidance, never a ruling. Allah knows best.
