Dua for relief from debt

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

Transliteration

Allahummak-fini bihalalika 'an haramik, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak

Translation

O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful against what You have made unlawful, and make me independent of all others by Your bounty.

Tirmidhi 3563

Refuge from the burden of debt

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ

Transliteration

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-ma'thami wal-maghram

Translation

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and from debt.

Bukhari 832

Dua for provision

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا، وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ

Transliteration

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'a, wa rizqan wasi'a, wa shifa'an min kulli da'

Translation

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and a cure from every disease.

Al-Hakim

Dua of Prophet for wealth without harm

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى

Transliteration

Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina

Translation

O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency (freedom from need of others).

Muslim 2721

Reliance upon Allah for provision

وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ

Transliteration

Wa man yattaqillaha yaj'al lahu makhraja, wa yarzuqhu min haythu la yahtasib

Translation

And whoever fears Allah — He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect.

Quran 65:2-3

Istighfar opens the doors of provision

اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ

Transliteration

Astaghfiru Rabbakum innahu kana ghaffara, yursilis-sama'a 'alaykum midrara, wa yumdidkum bi-amwalin wa banin

Translation

Seek forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send rain upon you in showers and give you increase in wealth and children.

Quran 71:10-12

Dua of distress and need

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

Transliteration

La ilaha illallahul-'Azimul-Halim, la ilaha illallahu Rabbul-'arshil-'azim

Translation

There is no god but Allah, the Mighty, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne.

Bukhari 6346

Dua of the indebted (taught by the Prophet)

اللَّهُمَّ فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ، كَاشِفَ الْغَمِّ، مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ، اقْضِ عَنِّي دَيْنِي

Transliteration

Allahumma farijal-hamm, kashifal-ghamm, mujiba da'watil-mudtarrin, iqdi 'anni dayni

Translation

O Allah, Reliever of worry, Remover of grief, Answerer of the call of the distressed — settle my debt for me.
