السمان رزق ميسر يأتي دون عناء كالمن والسلوى.
The quail is read by how it comes and whether it is taken with thanks. Quails arriving on their own, close at hand are read as provision that turns up without the usual labour: help from an unexpected direction, an opening no one arranged. Catching a quail easily carries the same reading and adds that the ease itself is the point. Hunting quail with difficulty, or losing it, turns the reading toward effort spent on something small — a gain not worth its chase. Eating quail is read as taking a benefit that is lawful and light. Quails in great number is the fuller reading of abundance, though the older interpretations attach a caution to it: what arrives easily is also what is most easily taken for granted. A quail escaping the hand is read as a chance that passed while the dreamer hesitated.
The whole reading rests on one Qur'anic episode rather than on the bird itself. Manna and quails are sent down to the Children of Israel in the wilderness — al-Baqara 2:57 and again in al-A'raf 7:160 — food given without cultivation, and given to a people who then complained of it. That double note, effortless provision and the ingratitude that can follow it, is exactly what the interpreters carried into the dream.
This is not a prediction of money, a job or a rescue arriving. No dream obliges anything or forbids anything, and none is a ruling. A meal, a documentary, a period of financial worry, or reading the story itself will each produce the dream on its own. If it left you uneasy rather than reassured, do as was taught: ask Allah for protection from its harm, turn onto your other side, and keep it to yourself.

Dream interpretations are drawn from classical Islamic sources where one exists, and otherwise from general symbolism. They are guidance, never a ruling. Allah knows best.
